International Mother Language Day to be observed in Nepal

Bangladesh's embassy in Kathmandu and Lija: Nepal bhasa (Newar language) Kabita Daboo (Lija Nepal bhasa Poem forum) will organize various literary and musical programs of different languages to observe International Mother Language Day on Feb 21 in the embassy. The program will see participation from poets and singers of Nepal bhasa and other languages. Bangladeshi ambassador Dr. Nemchandra Bhoumik will chair the program that have been organized annually since 2001 by the organizations.
